Backup Generator Installation

Complete electrical installation of your backup home generator (FBO*) which includes:

• Help you select the perfect location ( nearest to your electrical panel is best)
• Unpacking and setting your generator on the supplied generator pad (FBO)
• Installing the conduit and wire required to connect your generator to the automatic transfer switch (FBO)
• Control wiring
• Re-routing your existing primary power cables through the automatic transfer switch.
• Automatic transfer switch installation (FBO)
• CenterPoint transfer switch sketch and approval
• All required permits
• Intial start-up and testing

Note:

1. You purchase your home generator, automatic transfer switch and generator pad from any home backup generator supplier and have it shipped to your home.
2. You purchase a maintenance plan from the generator manufacturer or authorized service company including the smart phone apps you will need to monitor and setup your generator.
   

Assumes your generator is not larger than 27 KVA 120/240 VAC, is single phase and is located within 10 feet of your electrical panel.

Excludes any natural gas connections which will be installed by a licensed plumber at your cost.
